about
'Conche de Matha' was built after a quick trip to a small French island in December (45°54'28.8"N 1°19'19.9"W). The landscape that was presented to me that day totally captivated me. I decided to trap all the surrounding sounds and soak up the best of this autumnal atmosphere. Back at home, I assembled it all and I tried, with my fleeting memories, to recreate this sound environment persisted as me on the spot by adding layers of guitar, cello and organ. Here's the result ...
